Greg Sherwin takes a human-centered approach towards solving complex systems problems at the ecosystem level through collaborative leadership, diverse teams, innovative technology, and experimental data. His career spans executive technology, data, and product leadership roles at startups, global corporates, and academic research laboratories—mostly in Silicon Valley but also Europe, Africa, and Asia. Greg's journey includes co-founding LearnStreet, an award-winning edtech startup backed by Khosla Ventures, serving as VPE at Singularity University headquarters from 2015 to 2018, and most recently co-leading a global Center of Excellence for experimentation and organizational learning at Farfetch in Lisbon. His scientific and academic background includes pioneering work in satellite communication control systems at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory and experimental research in high-energy particle physics at Stanford's SLAC Linear Accelerator Center. Greg earned a degree in electrical engineering and computer science at the University of Illinois at Chicago and researched neuroscience in the University of California, Berkeley Bioengineering PhD program. He also co-authored one of the first books on Internet public relations, which became a university textbook. Today you will also find him researching AI policy, mentoring startups and scaleups, and providing advisory board leadership to The House of Beautiful Business, Sónar Lisboa, Planetiers, and the Peace-Led Climate Friendly Sustainable Development Forum in Singapore.

Dr. Christianna Taylor is a notable figure in Leadership, Strategy and Technology, specializing in transformative applications in space, AI and 3D Printing. As the Chief Technology Officer at Gantri, she guides the platform that employs 3D printing to create contemporary design lighting directly for consumers. Recognized as a Global Impact Challenge winner during her Singularity University engagement, Christianna established Intelligent Space in 2016. Her journey encompasses roles as a Concurrent Engineer abroad, Systems Engineer for small satellites at Microcosm and a NASA JPL GSRP Fellow. She's also contributed as Event Coordinator for AIAA Los Angeles-Las Vegas Chapter and as a Global Scholar with the Kauffman Foundation. Beyond advising startups in the New Space community, Dr. Taylor interests span travel, reading and embracing challenges. Her fascination with space dates back to watching Haley's comet with her mother, and her engagement in debates about futuristic concepts like those in Star Trek demonstrates her ongoing curiosity and connection to innovative ideas.

Exponential technologies and innovation are in our DNA at Airbus. What was radical about SU and its approach to innovation was teaming across domains at Airbus and being challenged and inspired to project farther into the future to define the system we needed to develop today. Singularity brought uncertainty to our process, which initially was very uncomfortable for us, but really added value in pushing us to improve our solution. Once we accepted it, we were able to better plan with more positive propositions and better, more flexible outcomes for the short and long term. The Singulartity process adapted very well to the technology.
The SU course in 2016 was the most inspiring educational experience I have had in my life. The key players themselves in the field of AI, robotics, 3D printing, cybersecurity, self-driving cars, energy, and healthcare presented their vision and recent developments. After this week I realized that the future was much closer than I thought. We actually implemented some innovations in our organization shortly after attending SU. Without this experience, we most likely would have waited to do so.
