Before joining Singularity, Dermot has had an extensive career as an Operations leader, spanning over 15 years with startup and mid-sized companies. This experience has endowed him with a deep understanding of how to scale operations effectively while maintaining agility and fostering a culture of innovation. Prior to his focus on operations, Dermot was a trained scientist in the Biotech and Pharmaceutical space, a background that has provided him with a unique perspective on the intersection of science, technology, and business operations.Outside of his professional life, Dermot has a personal connection to Ireland, where he enjoys visiting his family home. These visits to Ireland are not only a source of relaxation and rejuvenation for Dermot but also serve as a reminder of his roots and the importance of maintaining a balance between personal and professional life.
