We're seeking startups with experience in exponential technology, some level of demonstrated market traction, and a readiness to significantly advance their startup.
Intellectual property resulting from a GIC belongs to the applicant(s).
We would love to hear from you! Please reach out to use at info@su.org.
The selection process involves two to three phases, depending on the competition. The first phase entails reviewing all applications to determine 5-10 finalists, while the second phase involves final judging to select the winner at a pitch event.
Singularity + Sync will be responsible for the travel, lodging, and meals of the finalists during the in-person pitch event and the winner at the Executive Program.
GIC winners must obtain their own visas. Most non-U.S. participants have attended on an ESTA waiver program, tourist visa, or B-1/B-2 business visa. While Singularity University has "University" in its name, it is not an accredited degree-granting institution and does not sponsor student visas. However, we will provide an official invitation letter to support the visa application process.
If a GIC winner is denied a visa, their seat is forfeited to the first runner-up. They may reapply for admission in a future year.
If a winner cannot attend the Global Impact Awards Program, their seat is forfeited to the first runner-up and they must reapply for future admission.
