The Prize

Three winners of the Singularity University Global Impact Challenge Argentina will receive a fully funded seat at Singularity’s Global Impact Award Program.

The Global Impact Award Program is an immersive four-day experience designed to accelerate the entrepreneurial journey of founders. It offers hands-on learning, exposure to exponential technologies, mentorship from global experts, and opportunities to refine ideas and business models.

The program culminates in an exciting pitch and awards ceremony, bringing together a live and virtual audience of global community members, alumni, investors, and industry leaders.

Applicant Criteria

Who should apply?

The challenge is open to applicants worldwide.

Applicants must be fluent in both written and spoken English.

Applicants must be founders of a registered startup with a working prototype, minimum viable product (MVP), pilot, or demonstrated market traction.

Applicants must be able to travel to Silicon Valley for the pitch event.

Commitment to attending the entire Global Impact Awards Program is mandatory if awarded the prize.
Assessment Criteria

How will projects be judged?

Projects will be reviewed by a panel of judges who will look at the following:  
  • Solution's Aalignment with the Challenge theme
  • Feasibility, viability, and overall coherence of the Idea
  • Startup market validation, business model, and traction
  • Entrepreneurial and innovative potential, with an emphasis on novelty
  • Applicant's leadership experience, quality, profile, achievements, and potential

Develop technologies to reuse and recycle clean energy components like batteries.

Develop and implement cutting-edge solutions to unlock Argentina’s vast geothermal potential.

Reduce emissions using improved methods with nuclear, hydrogen, or other nontraditional energy sources.

Design tools to detect and prevent energy loss in power grids.

Build smart systems to reduce energy use in homes, public spaces, and historic buildings.

Develop efficiency tools for heavy energy users like refineries, petrochemicals, and AI infrastructure.

Create off-grid solutions to bring clean energy and storage to remote communities.

Optimize renewables like wind and solar for rural and isolated areas.

Reduce fossil fuel use in rural areas with hybrid or renewable alternatives.

Design solutions that boost economic and social benefits in energy-rich regions like Vaca Muerta.

Develop mobility solutions such as electric or hybrid vehicles for underserved areas.

Support clean energy careers with platforms for job training and workforce transition from fossil fuel industries.
