Sahra-Josephine Hjorth

Sahra-Josephine Hjorth is the co-founder and CEO of CanopyLAB, a generative AI edtech company founded in Copenhagen, Denmark in 2015. With nearly a decade of experience conducting online and analog learning experiments, she has led CanopyLAB to empower over 800,000 youths and 130,000 teachers worldwide through innovative social and adaptive learning solutions. Beyond her role at CanopyLAB, Sahra-Josephine serves on the advisory board of Expanded Existence, a mixed-reality MedTech company based in the USA, and on the board of Pamojatech, a foundation operating across Switzerland and Rwanda. In 2022, she was selected as the only Danish participant in the prestigious Obama Foundation Leaders Europe Program and delivered the opening remarks before President Barack Obama at the Copenhagen Democracy Summit, cementing her status as a globally recognized thought leader in education and technology. That same year, she was named "one to watch" on Real Leaders' Top 50 Best Keynote Speakers in the World list.
