Kieran N. Blanks (pronounced Ky-ren) is an ecosystem architect and innovation strategist specializing in the design of human-centered systems for the Fourth Industrial Revolution. As CEO of The Blankslate Group and Head of Product & New Ventures at Opportunity Hub (OHUB), he works at the intersection of technology, talent, and institutional design—helping organizations translate emerging technologies into durable economic and societal value.
Kieran developed the HITS Framework® (Human-Centricity, Industry-Led Innovation, Transformation, Secure- Sustainability), a systems methodology for building resilient innovation ecosystems. His work has guided governments, Fortune 500 companies, and innovation districts in designing scalable models for workforce transformation, technology adoption, and ecosystem growth.
A recognized leader in workforce and institutional innovation, Blanks led the $7M Missouri Tech First Initiative, preparing more than 1,000 learners for high-demand technology careers while doubling average participant income through a decentralized partnership model spanning government, industry, and community institutions. His work sits at the intersection of systems thinking, inclusive innovation, and exponential technology adoption, helping leaders design institutions capable of translating technological breakthroughs into long-term human and economic prosperity. Kieran is also an Aspen Institute Fellow, recognizing his leadership in innovation, workforce development, and social impact. He holds an MBA from the University of Rochester and a BA from Morehouse College.
