David S. Rose is a New York Times bestselling author, serial entrepreneur, angel investor, and keynote speaker widely recognized as a leading figure in the startup and venture capital ecosystem. Described by Forbes as "New York's Archangel," by Crain's New York Business as "the father of angel investing in New York," and by Red Herring magazine as "patriarch of Silicon Alley," David has founded or funded over 100 pioneering companies across industries ranging from artificial intelligence and blockchain to real estate, wireless communications, and space tourism. He is the Founder and Executive Chairman of Gust, the world's largest online platform for entrepreneurs and early-stage investors, and currently serves as Chairman of AI platform Thinkable AI and hospitality blockchain platform BookitNGo. An Associate Founder of Singularity University and its Founding Track Chair for Finance, Entrepreneurship and Economics, David is also the author of the definitive startup guides "Angel Investing" and "The Startup Checklist." His celebrated TEDtalk "How to Pitch a VC" has surpassed one million views, and he has been recognized as Mentor of the Year by NYU's Stern School of Business.
