Expert Bio

Andrea Geremicca is the Director General of the European Institute of Innovation for Sustainability (EIIS), a Rome-based organization dedicated to driving innovation in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). A serial entrepreneur and angel investor, Andrea co-founded two successful startups that shaped her deep understanding of innovation ecosystems. In 2016, she attended Singularity University at NASA Research Park in Silicon Valley, exploring the transformative impact of exponential technologies on society, and in 2018 she completed an executive program at Harvard Business School focused on driving innovation within large organizations. An adjunct professor at LUISS and LUMSA University, Andrea has also served as a guest lecturer at Harvard Kennedy School and Sciences Po, bringing her expertise in sustainability and future trends to some of the world's most prestigious academic institutions. Since 2019, she has contributed regularly to Harvard Business Review Italia, writing on emerging trends and future scenarios. As an advisor and angel investor in international startups, Andrea Geremicca stands at the intersection of entrepreneurship, academia, and sustainability innovation, making her a leading voice in the global conversation on technology-driven sustainable development.
