I. In this session, participants will get a mind-expanding view into how technology is transforming the human condition, and explore the why’s, the how’s and the what-if’s of human augmentation solutions.
II. This session is important to participants because it addresses the rapid advances in pharmacology, cybernetics, AI, and genetics - and its profound implications for humanity. With the rapid democratization of these cutting-edge technologies, we will all be using and developing these tools – across industries and around the world.
III. We cover a range of human augmentation areas, including longevity, sensory enhancement and cognitive improvement. Attendees will be presented with a range of real-world examples stretching from medical research to garage biohacking. The session last 30-45 minutes, followed by an optional breakout and/or live demonstrations of various human enhancement solutions. With a carefully optimistic outlook, we address the dilemmas scenarios that accompany these advancements – with the view that technology should fundamentally be designed to make us become more human, not less.
