Ashley is the CEO of Isazi and a geophysicist with qualifications in Physics, Mathematics and Environmental Science. Ashley has taken his knowledge as a geophysicist and has applied it to investment banking, mining and environmental management. This has placed him in a position to provide sustainable solutions through the integration of science and business with a major focus on developing Africa.
Alix is a researcher in philosophy of technology and the Director of Curated and Research Content at Singularity. She investigates the societal and cultural impact of exponential technologies. Her current research centres around two large scale projects. The first focus is on the effects of automated decision-making algorithms, Artificial Intelligence, and algorithmic bias.
Emeline Paat-Dahlstrom is a space entrepreneur, speaker, author, and impact instigator. She is the Co-Founder of International Space Consultants and SpaceBase – a social enterprise working to democratize access to space by catalyzing space ecosystems in emerging countries, starting with New Zealand. Emeline is an Edmund Hillary Fellow, currently residing in Christchurch, New Zealand.
Paola Santana is a lawyer, public procurement expert and tech entrepreneur, creating the next breakthrough in government systems. She's the founder and CEO of Social Glass, a software ecosystem using Artificial Intelligence to power high-performing governments.Previously, she co-founded Matternet, a Silicon Valley company pioneering drone logistics networks.
Gary is a Singularity Fellow in the area of Transformation and co-founder of career advisory service eParachute. His LinkedIn courses on leadership and organizational development have been taken by over 1 million learners.
Wolfgang Fengler is the CEO of World Data Lab, a leading player in forecasting consumer spending. With over two decades of experience at the World Bank, Wolfgang has lived and worked in the USA, Asia, Indonesia, and Africa. He has co-authored Delivering Aid Differently and Africa's Economic Boom. Prior to his tenure at the World Bank, he founded and led the Africa Consulting Company. Wolfgang's passion lies in harnessing data to drive positive global change He launched data models like population.io and worldpoverty.io, earning recognition from Bill Gates and the title "big data virtuoso" by DER SPIEGEL. Wolfgang's work has been featured in FT, ECONOMIST and CNN. Co-authoring influential publications, he's known for "Delivering Aid Differently" and "Africa’s Economic Boom". Beyond economics, he's a football enthusiast who organized Kenya's "Nairobi Mini World Cup" for kids. With a PhD from the University of Hamburg, Wolfgang drives economic discourse and data-driven change globally.
Dr. Tiffany Vora is a dynamic educator, writer, scientist and entrepreneur. She's Faculty and Vice Chair of Medicine and Digital Biology at Singularity University. Tiffany founded Bayana Science for science communication and co-founded Three Body Labs. She's driven to bridge science with practical insights for society, with degrees in Biology and Chemistry from NYU and a PhD in Molecular Biology from Princeton. Additionally, she's mentored startups, championed diversity and inspired innovation. Her expertise spans CRISPR, genetics, climate change, space biology and more, offering a broad view of transformative technologies.
Misha Byrne, a Singularity University expert in Neuroscience & Performance, applies his social-cognitive neuroscience background to delve into performance enhancement. Anne is Faculty at Boston University where she teaches Blockchain for Social Impact and has been an active part of the global blockchain community since 2012. She previously worked with Doctors Without Borders in Central Africa and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Anne was honoured as one of CBC’s 12 Young Leaders Changing Canada and one of the Fifty Most Inspirational Women in Technology in Canada.
